The Board of Directors is deeply committed to improving the pace of play during our monthly tournaments.  Through a combination of education, policy enforcement, and gentle peer pressure, we strive to achieve an acceptable pace of play.  An official clock is placed by the 1st tee and the 18th green, so we can track elapsed times of each foursome.  Record the Start Time when the 1st tee shot is struck on the 1st tee; the End Time is when the flagstick is replaced on the 18th green.  We publish the Pace of Play data along with our monthly tournament results, to track our progress towards achieving our goal of excellent pace of play.
