April 2010  2-man BB Tournament
(including Qualification for the NCGA Senior 4-Ball Net Championship)

Saturday April 24th;  starting time 11 AM. Maximum 60 players. Entry Deadline: 4/17/2010. Entry fee is $146 per team (or $73 per player).  Note: for those teams entering the Qualification for the NCGA Senior 4-Ball, please add $5 per player to your entry fee, for a total of $78 per player, or $156 per team.

FORMAT: Flighted, 2-man Better Ball.  Conditions of play vary, depending on flight:

Flight #1 will consist of 2-man teams who are attempting to qualify for the NCGA Senior 4-Ball Net Championship; teams
in this flight will compete under the following conditions (see the NCGA Blue Book for more information).

  • Players must have reached their 55th birthday by September 14, 2010.

  • Play will be at 90% of course handicap, using a maximum index of 18.4; players with indexes exceeding 18.4 may still play in Flight #1, but they will use an index of 18.4.

  • If partner's course handicaps differ by more than 8 strokes, an additional 10% reduction will be applied to their course handicaps.

  • In lieu of certificates, the qualifying team will have their entry fee paid to the Sectional Qualifying, to be held on 8/4 at TBD

  • If your team wants to compete in Flight #1 (Qualifying for NCGA Senior 4-Ball), check here______

All other Flights will consist of 2-man teams playing at 100% of their course handicaps, with no age or handicap restrictions.

*** If you do not pay for the optional contests at the same time you send in your entry form there will be a $2 surcharge added per contest entered the day of the tournament; the $2 charge is not included in the prize fund.
